EDM Process Flow

In it's simplest form, Axiom's EDM process converts paper documents and forms into retrievable electronic information. When the objective is simply to archive information, the scanning process results in image files that are easy to duplicate, retrieve and distribute. However, in most applications just scanning documents is not enough.

•	You need to convert images into searchable, editable and smaller-sized files. (Axiom uses industry leading OCR and ICR engines accomplish this)
•	You need to find the stored information. (Indexing and Metadata Extraction is important.PDF files may need book-marking)
•	You need to use the stored information. (Quality is important. Value-added services like manual cleanup may be appropriate)
•	You need to minimize the cost of the conversion process. (Axiom automates processes as much as possible. Since no portion of the work is sub-contracted, savings are passed on to you)

The classic path in most conversion projects is as follows:
